A Mole in a Hole

One day I felt I was a mole in a hole. (poor, poor me.)

……….a dark hole

…………….pitch

…………………sick

Less than a mouse did I feel

………….a mouse in a house

……………….thief of crumbs

……………………..eater of plums

For sure much lower than a hamster was I

…………….one with a blanket

…………………eater of carrot. . .He chomped.

…………………………That one who wriggled his tiny pink nose.

How silly was I that day last week when I felt to be a mole in a hole.
