World Cancer Day

Today is World Cancer Day.

I believe I have not met the friend of Mike and Melina’s, who was so thoughtful as to create and send me this keychain. Hope is the word! Thank you for that!

As a newborn baby is wrapped tightly about with warm flannel material, as I stretch my arms to fit into a snug leather jacket, so have I enveloped myself with empathy for those around the globe who have been stricken by this defiling disease. I salute oncology doctors and nurses, naturopathic physicians, those in related medical fields, and scientists who expend their strength and energy to search for a cure and/or managements of these dire conditions.
